Back in 1996 my mom asked me to photograph her sitting on the stairs in front of my cousin's house. I was only 7 at the time and that's when I fell in love with photography. I didn't just take the photo, I took the time to frame it the best I could and I even tried to get the best angle! As soon as my mom got that picture developed, everyone loved it... and that's the moment I realized the power of a photograph and its magic. I then started taking photos of as many things I could - my sister included - and my mom would often buy new films cause I was filling them up too quickly! Later on, in my teens I got interested in portrait photography and thanks to my love for movies, television and entertainment I got to know a lot of photographers and got in touch with some of them for tips and questions. My passion kept growing over the years and in 2008 I got my first reflex camera - a Nikon D90 - and had the chance to photograph Alessia Ventura, an italian actress, model and host - who is now a friend of mine - during various events she attended, giving me a closer look of that world I was so drawn to. Through my photos I always try to share the magic I experience while taking them.
